Greenhouse Tomatoes

tomgre.gif (3928 bytes)Our Greenhouse Tomatoes grow to ripe perfection in the perfect environment for flavor and goodness

Unlike growers in cool climates, Master's Touch® doesn't use greenhouse technology to make up for the lack of warm, natural sunlight. Our tomatoes are ripened under the southern sun in a gently ventilated environment, where they are protected from pests, rain and the elements. Each plant is carefully drip-irrigated and raised with little or no pesticides, In short, a tomato couldn't have it any better. Neither could you - because with Master's Touch® Greenhouse Tomatoes virtually every tomato is a prize specimen, the kind customers reach for first.

There's Nothing Like A Tomato Ripened On The Vine

The deeply sweet, rich taste of real garden-style tomatoes is developed as essential sugars and other natural flavor agents are drawn from the vine into the maturing fruit. Master's Touch® Greenhouse Tomatoes develop fully on the vine, so each luscious red tomato is filled with sweet, juicy flavor.

More good Nutrition, Too

Here's a little bonus that goes with spectacular flavor. Master's Touch® Greenhouse Tomatoes offer nearly three times as much Vitamin A as field grown tomatoes. And why not? They get the perfect blend of nutrients as they grow, and in return reward you with more goodness. After all, they haven't used up all that food energy struggling to grow - so they have more essential nutrients left for you.

Storage And Handling

To maintain just-picked quality, tomatoes should be stored at 56º-60º F. and not refrigerated. Ideal humidity range is 75-80%. Avoid storing them near cucumbers or eggplant. Tomatoes give off natural ethylene gas which may hasten the ripening of other vegetables
